Location: Bellville, Northern Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. A fast-growing restaurant franchise is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team in the Plattekloof area. The ideal candidate would be a junior accountant who enjoys a fast paced environment.

Duties include but not limited to: E-filing, Paye calculations, Vat, Daily capturing of pastel until trial balance, Reconciliations, Opening bank accounts, Assisting with shop building, creating new accounts like Telkom, Multichoice etc. Asset register, Creditor’s recons

Requirements: 3+ years experience in a similar position. Tertiary qualification in accounting. Good experience and knowledge of VAT, EMP 201 / 501, PAYE, Filing and submissions. Good knowledge and experience with Pastel and Excel. Meticulous attention to detail. Deadline driven and able to work under pressure. Ability to Reconcile between systems and to process high volumes. South African drivers license. Own transport beneficial. Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
