Hot Foods Manager, Location: Bellville, Northern Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. Large Established Meat processing plant in Cape Town which specialises in full range of emulsion products and hams, is seeking to employ a Hot Foods Manger with a minimum of 3 Years’ experience in the field to manage the daily running of the Hot Foods Counter at 3 different.

Must Have: At least 3 Years experience in similar Field. A minimum Grade 12 or NQF equivalent. Certificate in retail management / prepared foods management. Understanding and application of Food Safety practices. Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibility: Manage the Hot Foods in accordance with Britos methods and standards. Assist with monthly and bi-annual general stock taking as required. Ordering of stock. Supervise all staff. Report all staff disciplinary issues to Management without delay. Stock controlling & all portion controlling. Assist with store opening & closing procedures. Improve sales, quality & service of your department. Liaise with customers to improve standards. Ensure that your department complies with Health and Safety aspects as per requirements. Assist with promotional activities. All other functions as reasonably requested by Management. Responsible for managing Product costing, the GP’s  and menu pricing. Responsible for new cost effective recipes. Training of other hot food staff for new stores. Rotation to other stores, in order to ensure that standards are upheld and implemented in all britos stores. Liaise with Operations department and reporting. Salary: R10 000.00 - 15 000.00.
