Job Description:
We are currently looking for a sales professional to assist in growing our US customer base in larger retail accounts in the US and Canada. This individual would preferably be based in our offices in either Victoria or Toronto, but other locations will be considered. This position does require extensive travel across the US and Canada. Applicants must have previous work experience in the toy & game industry, and must have a proven track record dealing with most major accounts in the US.
Main responsibilities:
Develop and grow a sales channel into key accounts in the US and Canada.
Required Qualifications:
 Past experience in the toy & game industry.
 Proven track record with most major accounts in the US.
 Excellent work ethic - you will be working with a team of hard-working, self-motivated individuals who work with minimal supervision. Self motivation and a strong work ethic are an absolute requirement.
 Due to the educational nature of our games, excellent writing skills are necessary. Any successful applicant must be able to write efficiently and clearly.
 Valid passport and driver’s license required.
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
 Above all, any successful applicant must value the importance of customer service in a small business environment.
Additional Information:
Outset Media is a small company with fewer than 20 employees in our Victoria office. Therefore, in addition to the above responsibilities, any successful applicant may be required to assume a variety of non-related responsibilities. Applicants must be comfortable working in a constantly-changing small business environment.
