Location: Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands, Job Type: Full-Time. My client requires a Receptionist. The successful incumbent will welcome visitors by greeting them in person or telephonically, direct calls to the relevant departments and maintains security by following procedures and monitoring our logbook.

Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of callers and forward calls to appropriate personnel and departments Greet visitors professionally, determine their nature and purpose of visit and direct or accompany them to appropriate destinations. Monitors visitors’ access and ensure they sign the logbook. Prepare correspondence messages via email to colleagues for returning calls if they are unavailable. Record and resolve complaints from customers and the public while remaining positive to negative criticism. Support the Mission, Vision and core values of the company. May be required to perform basic clerical duties and assist with Admin tasks from time to time. Good understanding and working experience in the Financial Services. Industry will be an advantage.

Minimum Requirements: Educational requirements:  High School Diploma or Equivalent. At least 2 – 4 years’ experience as a Receptionist. Fully bilingual in English and Xhosa will be preferred.

Excellent customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Dependable, punctual Active listening skills, patience and empathy. Microsoft Outlook skills for internal communication to convey messages to staff members. Excellent attendance record and a strong work ethic is of utmost importance.
