A well-established company requires a Filipino Accountant, willing to join immediately and available in UAE, with minimum of 5 working years of experience preferably in UAE. Responsibilities and Duties:  Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded  Update accounts receivable and issue invoices  Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations  Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines  Hands on UAE VAT implementation experience (Input VAT & Output VAT)  Review and check expenses, payroll calculation/records  Update financial data in database to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed  Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports  Preparation monthly/yearly closings  Follow up payments from clients  Perform admin and clerical works Qualifications and Skills  Accounting or Finance Graduate  Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Accounting software, Databases, Sage, Tally, Peach Tree  Ability to record large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports  Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures  Expertise in Accounts & Financial Management  High attention to detail and excellent accounting and analytical skills  Sound independent judgment
