Graphic / Web Designer – Hermanus, Location: Hermanus, Overberg, Job Type: Contract. Seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual who must be capable of developing and designing websites.

Coding capabilities are not necessarily needed because we use our own web development/building platform. Good understanding of Content Management Systems (like Wordpress) will be advantageous but is not a necessity. Good understanding of Web Copy Writing will be highly advantageous.

Requirements: Experience in graphic design. Experience using any Visual Design Software. Experience with animations/video editing. Must be creative and good with layouts. Must be able to follow instructions and briefings well. Must be a perfectionist relating to design, layout and functionality. Must be able to work under pressure. Must be able to work independently and in a group.  Previous experience or understanding of digital marketing will be highly advantageous. Knowledge of SEO/SEM, email marketing, newsletters, advert and social media campaigns will be advantageous. Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript will be advantageous. Knowledge of Wordpress will be advantageous but is not necessarily a requirement. Basic Admin skills needed.  Basic marketing skills needed. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to work alone or within a team environment. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
