Purchasing and Stock Control Assistant, Bibendum Wine Co. Melbourne, CBD & Inner Suburbs. Bibendum Wine Co. is one of Australia’s most respected wine & spirit importers/distributors, working with over one hundred of the world’s greatest wine producers and a swag of benchmark craft distilleries. We now have an opportunity for a Purchasing and Stock Control Assistant, preferably with experience in the wine industry, to join our long established business.

The Role: Daily monitoring of Australian stock levels and ordering with suppliers as required, according to budgets and release schedules. Liaise with warehouse on arrival of stock and ensure customer service and sales teams have up-to-date accurate information. Maintain and communicate Australian availability at winery. Manage movement of spirit stock from under bond warehouse to Bibendum on a just-in-time basis. Communicate arrivals of spirit stock to bond. Monitor movement of stock between warehouses. Stocktake administration and investigation. Work closely with the purchasing team on overseas ordering, arrivals schedule, pricing and product creation.

The Person: Knowledge and experience of purchasing and stock control processes in a beverage environment. Excellent supply chain delivery planning skills. Team player and willingness to get the job done. Great attention to detail. Self-motivated, organised and able to work with minimal supervision. Excellent MS Word & Excel skills.
