Server specialist, Western Sydney, Australia. Server specialist job, Government agency, Parramatta, $720 p/d your new company your new job will be within a Government agency with head office in Parramatta. Due to multiple ongoing initiatives they require a Server specialist to assist with their data centre migration.

 Your new role: You will be required to offer technical expertise and assistance with the refresh of both physical and virtual servers whilst offering on-going operational stability with minimal disruption to the business. The role involves Liaison with all aspects of the IT department, documentation and presentation of technical solutions and change requests.

What you'll need to succeed: You will be part of a highly enthusiastic team within a Government agency so experience in the Government sector is highly regarded. You must be able to demonstrate an in depth understanding of Cloud technologies. You will also be required to process the following skills.

Demonstrated server experience in a Windows environment and Microsoft physical and virtual standard operating environments. Demonstrated experience of migrating applications from legacy platforms. Knowledge of cloud based technologies(AWS, Azure). Proven ability with Hyper converged infrastructure in a VMware environment utilizing Vsphere, Vmotion, Vcentre, VSAN, NSX technology stack. Knowledge of storage technologies. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, V M Ware, Linux, J Boss Technologies.
