Junior Projects Engineer, Kansai Plascon well recognised Manufacturing Company based in the KwaZulu-Natal, Durban has a vacancy available for Junior Projects Engineer to join their dynamic team!

Qualifications required: Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate. Completed BTech or BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Knowledge and experience required: Minimum of 1- 2 years mechanical practical experience. Knowledge and understanding of engineering practices in a manufacturing environment. Understanding of technical designs, drawings, and materials. Knowledge of and experience with mechanical processes, lubrication, motors, bearings, shafts and belts. Electrical knowledge (PLC units, wiring, drives) will be advantageous. Strong communication skills with a hands-on approach in the workplace. Computer literate (MS Office).

Key areas of performance: Planning and executing projects and building of new machines. Procurement of required stock including parts, components, consumables and spares. Coordinating tasks of artisans, service schedules and approving job cards. Schedule and facilitate staff meetings. Liaise with Research and Development, Design and Production department regarding Projects.
