Workshop Manager – Sandton, Location, Other, Johannesburg, Advertised By Agency, Job Type Full-Time. Dynamic IT Hardware Maintenance Company is recruiting for an experienced Workshop Manager.

Min Qualifications & Experience: National Senior Certificate (Grade 12). Qualification in Electronics, preferably light current; Valid Certification from a Hardware / Software Supplier, i.e. IBM, HP, etc. preferred; At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in a pressurised technical / workshop environment, with at least 2years’ in the capacity of manager or supervisor.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: Repair Centre Management Ensuring that basic repairs are conducted as per the relevant Workshop processes. Ensuring that productivity and quality standards are adhered to within the Workshops. Managing the flow of repairs. Ensuring the setup of test jigs. Providing assistance to subordinates timeously, on all complex problems, which are proving difficult for staff. Ensuring the cost effectiveness of the repair centre procedures, conducting regular cost analysis. Ensuring adherence to the established Workshop Standards. Ensuring the accurate data capturing on Navision of hardware repairs completed. Managing all warranty repairs with and for vendors. Ensuring adherence to all Warranty Procedures. Coordinating the purchase and delivery of components, tools and cleaning materials in the repair centres. Ensuring that authorisation is requested prior to the sending of repairs and / or equipment to branches.
