Job description
The senior account executive will oversee all sales-related processes, primarily in South Africa. They will respond to requests for proposals; negotiate and execute insertion orders; work with the integrated marketing solutions development team; collaborate with ad operations to oversee trafficking and campaign launches and help to optimize performance and delivery when necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing and supporting the Moguldom sales strategy across all Africa-focused websites
• Complete regular calls and sales pipeline reports
• Provide superior customer service to clients
• Actively prospect via online communications, by phone and at in-person meetings
• Provide revenue reporting, call reports, and business strategy in weekly, monthly, and annual reporting
• Develop market intelligence data and analyses of the competition
• Work with editors, and integrated marketing solutions development on developing and executing creative ideas
• Work with ad traffickers to ensure campaigns are optimized and exceed client expectations
• Support video, mobile, and social media online advertising initiatives
• Conduct extensive market research on online advertising and identify relevant market trends

Requirements
Qualifications:
• Solid advertising sales background, preferably combined with experience as a digital media buyer
• Minimum of five+ years of ad sales experience in digital advertising sales
• Thorough knowledge of Digital Advertising standards, practices and technologies
• Well established contacts with both corporate accounts and advertising agencies
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects simultaneously, prioritise and delegate
• Organised and results-oriented self-starter with a dedicated work ethic and collaborative style
• Skilled at developing and maintaining client and agency relationships, media planning and buying and negotiations
• Entrepreneurial ability to approach the challenges and opportunities of working in a dynamic industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), with a strong command of the English language.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• University Degree is required.
