A four month contract exists at Frey’s Food Brands in the Cato Ridge plant for the following position: Sales Administrator, Department: Sales, Reports to: Customer Services Manager, Minimum Qualification: Matric / Numeracy and Literacy on NQF Level # 4, Computer literacy on NQF level # 4

Minimum experience required: One (1) years sales admin experience, in a computerized environment, in the fresh/frozen food industry. Advanced Excel skills inherent requirement for the position Understand the fresh and frozen food industry cold chain and related functions. Able to work accurately and meet deadlines, Ability to use initiative and be proactive, Ability to operate computers using E-mail, Internet, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point, Good Communication Skills, Quick Reaction to problem solving skills,

The position requires an individual who can perform the following tasks: Capture sales orders accurately and speedily onto the CSB system. Allocate orders on CSB whenever there is a product shortage. Send confirmation via e-mail to customer confirming order. Update customers on a daily basis as to the status of their delivery. Correspond with customers in terms of product orders. Communicate relevant price notification to customers. Manage the minimum order quantities placed by customers. Verify Customer information is up to date and correct. Check customer account for credit and outstanding payments. Log customer complaints with the relevant department and ensure feedback is received within the required time frames. Capture and track all sample requests and ensure timeous delivery and communication to customers
