Job description
Join the dynamic WC design team on site at Canal Walk as our DTP/design/production coordinator. You need to be highly motivated, high energy, deadline and solutions driven with an exceptional eye for quality and detail.
You will be assisting the senior designer with design, pre-press, quotes, ordering, liaising with suppliers and coordinating all production requirements for a number of regional and super-regional shopping centres. You need to be skilled in InDesign and Photoshop, have flair for retail design, marketing collateral, digital elements as well as in-depth experience with extensive production know-how! You will be responsible for the entire production process from coordinating the design brief with marketing managers to supplier liaison, tenders, quotes, orders, invoices and quality control to delivery of final product.
You need to have exceptional grammar and editing skills and preferably be good at copy-writing too.

Requirements
• At least two to three years experience in a similar position
• Design and production experience
• Highly proficient in Indesign, Adobe Photoshop
• Great organisational skills
• Excellent communication and editing skills - English
• Compilation and coordination of production schedule
• Computer Literacy - MS Office including excel and powerpoint
• Excellent knowledge of all print and repro processes essential
• Excellent planning ability
• Excellent client relationship management skills
• Copywriting skills
Advantageous
• Web design/designing for digital
• Any relevant skill set (websites, photography) in addition also a bonus.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure, meet deadlines and retain a sense of humour
