Permanent Intermediate/Senior Graphic Designer, Location, Other, Northern Suburbs, Advertised By Agency, Job Type Full-Time

We are looking for a designer to create beautiful, pixel-perfect, and moreover - usable â?? interfaces and produce bestin-breed web, mobile, and print designs for our various digital properties. You must be hands on, responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within a fast paced, open and collaborative peer environment.

 Specification Duties will include, but not limited to: Creative designs for promotions and campaigns, Conceptualising new designs and user interactions that are both functional and user-friendly. Developing creative content from scratch. Working within client briefs and with supplied assets. Website design. Mobile Design: iOS, Android, and mobile web. Web & Email Templates: headers, buttons, backgrounds, iconography, typography. Print Design: physical collateral including folders, booklets, flyers, stickers, banners, etc.

 UX/UI: experience in user-experience and interaction design a plus. Constantly looking for opportunities to improve UX through design

Requirements: Portfolio demonstrating any area of graphic, website and mobile design. An ability to interpret business and user requirements into intuitive and logical design. Passion for graphic design, human-computer and human-human interaction design. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong eye for typography, colour, composition and hierarchy. High proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign and other design packages. Firm grasp of current trends and best practices for the web and mobile world and understanding of technology used in designing interactively. Mobile UX/UI experience – responsive design/websites and native apps. Solid knowledge of web standards. A commitment to producing quality, innovative work. Excellent communication skills. Deadline driven, able to work under pressure. Work in a collaborative team environment or independently. Service orientated and willing to go the extra mile. Possess initiative to address issues and identify opportunities

Advantageous: Graphic Design (Adobe Photoshop), expert level. Solid graphic design and print knowledge (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign). Illustration (Adobe Illustrator). Conceptual art (Drawing, painting). Animation. Basic knowledge of HTML5. Facebook/Social media

About You: You have a great eye for stunning visual design. You love to collaborate with other designers and writers, users, developers and product managers to create sites and designs that are a pleasure to use. You get uneasy if something is a few pixels off. You excel at taking features and concepts and turning them into clever and intuitive user interfaces. You must be hands on, responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within a fast paced, open and collaborative peer environment.
