Minimum 2yrs of working experience in teaching, preferably in language teaching field with good teaching methodology and teaching performance; 2. Have great passion in teaching Chinese language and deep pride about Chinese culture, traditions and values; Extra Chinese talents such as paper cutting, calligraphy, cooking, playing Chinese traditional sports...etc, can be an added advantage; 3. Have nice hand writing in Chinese characters, previous training in Chinese calligraphy will be an added advantage; 4. Fluent in English speaking and writing skills; 5. Hardworking, understanding, humble, helpful, cooperative and learning attitudes are very important characteristics for all Happy Mandarin teachers, pls apply for this position ONLY if you seriously think you do have above set of qualities; 6. Other qualities which exemplify the ideal teacher for children are sense of humor, friendliness, creativity, team spirits and a fun and inspiring personality; 7. Knowledge of Chinese songs that can be taught to our students in a fun and happy way. TRAINING: Full high quality training will be provided to you before you begin teaching with Happy Mandarin. Training is for a total duration of 1.5-2months, once or twice per week and will start in September 2016. Hiring for this training will be immediate. We provide you with transportation costs during this period, but do NOT provide a training allowance. On successful completion of training you will begin teaching. Compensation: We will be happy to compensate the right candidate with attractive per class payment, transportation allowance and bonus based on class size and teaching performance.
