Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), Basic cardiac life support (BCLS), CPR certification
Experience: Experience an asset
Work Setting: Hospital
Area of Specialization: General duty, Emergency room
Specific Skills: Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, Assist in surgery and other medical procedures, Provide nursing care
