Purpose of the Job: A leading metal recycling company in South Africa requires a mature, committed and motivated Software Developer to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a strategic modernization system development project. Software systems are operational requirements and a practical realization of design is part of the experience. Longer term commitment could be a benefit to all parties. The job includes maintenance, enhancement and development of a suite of software created to manage the financial and operational systems of the company. The position is based at our Epping branch; however the candidate may from time to time be required to commute to other sites in the Cape Town area. Reports to the Engineering Director.

Main Functions: Maintain existing, and develop new systems to support the company’s operation, Internal client liaison, Assist with documenting existing systems. Analyse user requirements and design systems to meet requirements, Test new and existing systems, Implement software systems, Support users of software systems

Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology, Proficient in C# /.Net, MSCD qualification would be recommended, Proficient in Visual Studio, Good understanding of object orientation / design patterns, Experience with TFS, Minimum 5-10 years of appropriate work experience, Microsoft SQL competency, Good communication and interpersonal skills, Driver’s license and own reliable transport, Posted By Execz, Start Date Asap, Salary R 40 000 Highly Negotiable, Location Epping, Cape Town
