The Role: Our Disability Services team have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated experienced Support Workers to join our team. Workers who have proven disability experience as well as experience in working with service users with challenging behaviours are highly sought after. The roles are located across the inner northern suburbs of Brisbane including Wooloowin and other locations as requested.

Hours available: We are seeking casuals who are extremely flexible and readily available to meet the needs of our service users. We have various casual shifts available, over the course of Monday to Sunday, please outline your availability upon application including any times you are unavailable.

To be successful in the role, you are required to have: A willingness to engage with people in an understanding and dignified manner which is age-appropriate and culturally sensitive. Experience in working with clients who display challenging behaviours. Be motivated to achieve positive results and the ability to think creatively. An open QLD drivers licence and accesses to reliable transportation to and from work. A yellow card or the ability to obtain a yellow card. A current first aid and CPR certificate or the willingness to obtain this certification. Microsoft Office and computer literacy skills. It is highly desirable for candidates to have previous experience in the disability services sector or a similar field. Package which has a base rate of $29.10 with the opportunity to increase your take-home pay by salary sacrificing and/or other benefits.
