This is an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional young person with experience in fundraising and communications to join our team as Marketing and Fundraising Manager. This twelve-month role reports to the Business Development Manager and will be key in implementing the AYCC's fundraising strategy.

Key Responsibilities: The right candidate will be give the opportunity to take on major projects across our areas of business development and will have a high level of ownership and autonomy over certain programs.

Responsibilities include: Supporting AYCC's fundraising strategy and achieving agreed annual incomes across programs. Grants from philanthropic foundations and government. Assisting with our annual peer-to-peer fundraising campaign 'For the Love of' which raised $145,000 in 2015. Major gifts from generous individual donors. Small individual contributions from our members. Sponsorships and partnerships with ethical businesses, councils and other non-profit organizations.

Core Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Project Management, Able to set strong goals and deliver, Work independently and as part of a team, Passionate about climate change and empowering young people to take action

Optional areas of experience: This role fits within a growing business development team, so the role will be developed to meet the skills and experience of the right candidate. If you have experience in any of the below, please highlight this in your cover letter:

Fundraising or marketing campaigns, Partnership building, high level relationship management or pitching for funding, Grant Writing, Event management experience, Staff or volunteer management
