Marketing Assistant (R5000 pm to R15 000 pm) Succeed Group, a dynamic and fast growing strategic marketing consultancy, operates nationally and mainly with clients in the professional and corporate industry. We are in need of marketing assistant to assist senior marketing consultants in their daily operations. You would be based full-time at our office in Somerset West. Job Overview: An important cog in the marketing wheel, you'll be expected to be involved at all levels. The Marketing Assistant assists the marketing consultants in daily marketing activities and is usually a good entry level position to a career in marketing. This job is full of variety and you’ll need to be able to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks.

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Manage regular contact with clients.

• Assessing and monitoring the results of marketing campaigns.

• Assisting consultants in drafting marketing reports.

• Assist with the development of marketing processes over time.

• Contribute ideas for improving marketing standards and processes.

• Uploading marketing material to online libraries, internet groups and social media sites.

• Assisting the marketing consultants and supporting the marketing team with marketing activities.

• Assisting with the production of marketing materials for clients.

• Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature.

• Liaise with the graphic designer to ensure quality work delivered on time and to budget.

• Coordinating the production of a wide range of marketing communications.

• Updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation and databases.

• Managing events, booking venues and ordering marketing materials. Key skills for marketing assistant: • Personable, presentable and articulate.

• Strong administration and organisational skills.

• Strong communicator and relationship builder.

• Good communication skills (fluent in both English and Afrikaans).

• A degree or diploma in marketing (not essential but an advantage).

• Effective project management skills.

• Sound understanding of marketing principles.

• Strong copy writing skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas.

• Computer proficient with Microsoft Office.
