Sushi Loku Restaurant in Vancouver is looking for experienced Japanese Hot food Cook who has a "can do" attitude, energetic, flexible schedule, clean & neat appearance and able to work well under pressure and with others. We are a new restaurant serving fresh Japanese style cuisine.
Position: Japanese Hot food Cooks (Permanent)
2 Positions are available
Wage: $15.00 per hour
Working hours: 37.5hrs/week
Location: 592 E Broadway, Vancouver BC V5T 1X5

Benefit: 2 weeks paid vacations per year
Qualifications:
Candidate must have at least 2years experience in an upscale sushi restaurant, be able to communicate with staffs and customers in English and completion of secondary school is required. Culinary school training is a definite plus.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook Japanese dishes such as Teriyaki, Tempura, Bento, and Gyoja.
- Prepare and make sauces for Japanese dishes
-Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
-Ensure all operating standards including food safety and quality are adhered.
- Monitor food stocks and kitchen supplies
-Perform monthly inventories and training of new teammates as required.
