The Role:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Senior Digital Media Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the development, creation, and implementation of the online marketing experiences for Global Relay. He/she will be responsible for project management and creative conceptualization of web site projects, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), e-campaigns, marketing automation and social media activities.
This person must have excellent written and oral communication skills, well-developed problem solving skills, a fine eye for detail, and a passion for online social communication. An ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-past environment is critical.
Role Responsibilities:
• Manage marketing automation tool to include design, create, and execute e-campaigns, drip campaigns, landing pages; oversee use and user training, analyze statistics to determine effectiveness of campaigns
• Administrate the inbound marketing effort on the Global Relay websites to interact and nurture leads, using Pardot marketing automation system
• Maintain company websites by performing ongoing updates to the CMS and WordPress, while monitoring statistics to increase traffic; create regular reports summaries of web analytics and key performance indicators
• Work with the Website Development Specialist (sr. web experience optimization specialist) to continually evolve the site user experience and optimize for improved visibility
• Evaluate analytics of SEM campaigns to determine landing page topics; work with web specialist to implement SEO strategies and track the effectiveness of new and existing online campaigns
• Develop the digital/social media marketing plans and proposals based on company goals; devise and implement social strategies that drive online traffic to the company websites and increase leads, engagement, and followers
• Develop and manage all social media channels – compose engaging and informative content using appropriate brand voice and best practices on social channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube; train employees to engage prospects and customers online
• Coordinate the marketing calendar with online activity, tracking social media influence measures across all social platforms to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy globally for consistency of messages that remain on the brand
• Coordinate and communicate weekly and monthly reporting on social media and blogging analytics and insights, using Hootsuite and Google Analytics; strong focus on measurability - translate measurement data and social media monitoring insights into compelling, understandable, actionable opportunities. Identify best practices for online media to implement to ensure Global Relay is achieving best results from its social media programs
• Plan, participate in & monitor social media forums & messaging; consistent participation in conversations that surround content and brand, answering comments; identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surround Global Relay’s brand, report to appropriate parties
• Establish meaningful connections with relevant industry thought leaders and influencers
• Be passionately in tune with the latest social media developments, online behaviours, and trends
• Develop blog plan
• Benchmark competitive digital activities
• Define key performance indicators and track performance of campaign testing and live campaigns
• Provide administrative and functional support of department’s CRM tool as it relates to marketing to include auditing/managing information; configuring/customizing data
• Coordinate, promote , and host company webinars to attract prospective customers to the Global Relay Websites
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree preferably in marketing or business communications; MBA a plus
• 2+ years Web design experience and working knowledge of HTML and web standards
• 3+ years’ experience with CRM software; a similar CRM tool
• Working knowledge of google analytics reporting, web navigation, blogging software, and lead nurturing software.
• Solid experience with marketing automation tools to include building e-campaigns, landing pages, and forms. Experience with Pardot a plus
• Proven experience in website content optimization, keyword research SEM/SEO, PPC, CRM/email, social media, and online advertising
• Solid understanding of social media metrics and reporting practices. Experience with platforms like Mention and SocialBro a Plus
• Proficiency managing and executing social media campaigns. Experience with Hootsuite a plus
• Understanding of database and marketing infrastructure management
• Strong proficiency in Excel; Areas including charting and data manipulation
• Demonstrated creative and strategic thinking ability
• Strong organizational skills and computer proficiency in MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word
• Exceptional oral and written communications skills
• Experience in B2B marketing a plus
• Experience in Finance and/or regulation a plus
