Executive Assistant / Office Manager: Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth, Work Type/s: Full Time, Classification/s: Administration, Sector/s: Not For Profit (NFP), Location: Canberra & ACT.

Your Purpose The purpose of your position as the Executive Assistant/Office Manager is to play a key role in the smooth operation of the ARACY office, including general office and reception duties, supporting staff in a small and agile organisation.

You will be responsible for providing high-level executive and administrative support to the CEO, other senior staff and the Board, through diary management, organising travel and preparing correspondence and presentations. You will liaise with government, research and practitioner stakeholders, including Ministers Offices and CEOs.

You will develop, review and manage all contracts with our outsourced providers. As the ARACY Company Secretary, you will support the Board and CEO as appropriate. You will have the ability to manage the IT infrastructure and maintenance schedules, maintain and review ARACY asset register and manage appropriate insurance policies for ARACY’s operations.

We do this by addressing all areas of wellbeing for young Australians from their earliest moments up to age 24. ARACY helps members achieve their goals by sharing evidence of what works, brokering opportunities, and connecting practitioners, researchers, and policymakers.

To be successful you will have: Experience in office management and high-level executive support. Experience as a Company Secretary. Competence in using Microsoft office. Tertiary qualifications in business administration and/or equivalent qualifications and experience preferred but not essential. In addition, a commitment to the ARACY Values of Collaboration, Courage, Inclusion, Integrity, and Quality will be critical.
