Location: New Germany, West Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. Job opportunity available! A national NERSA accredited company based in New Germany is looking for a young,  energetic individual who is technically minded with plumbing experience to join our team, with growth potential.

This person: Will be required to work in both electrical and water fields, with the focus mostly being on the water trades. Training will be provided for the basic electrical responsibilities you will be given. Must have a valid Matric (National Senior Certificate). Must be fluent in English. Afrikaans and or Zulu/Xhosa advantageous. Must be able to work in a team environment, under supervision and independently. Must be able to work under pressure and will be required to work overtime on occasion where necessary. Will be required to be on standby every second week on an alternating basis. (Standby allowance, company vehicle & cellphone and overtime pay included). Must have intermediate knowledge of and be able to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel). Must be customer friendly, have a positive attitude, be neat, express reliability and a willingness to learn. Must be able to take the initiative and think outside the box. Must have a valid CODE B driver’s license. (Code C will not be accepted or considered.) Must have their own transport to and from the workplace. Must have knowledge in plumbing works, specifically with HDPE/ uPVC/ copper pipe installations, class C residential water meter installations and residential plumbing installations. Electrical experience & knowledge of electric kilowatt-hour meters is advantageous.
