Credit Controller | General Ledger Accountant | Technology Sector

Leading Technology Company, based in the city centre, requires an experienced GL Accountant with specific credit control skills to join their EMEA Finance team on a contract basis.

This position will report to the Revenue Manager and is an excellent opportunity for the successful person to join a multinational technology company in a critical EMEA credit management role.

Key Responsibilities:

    * Ensure timely and efficient collection of Accounts Receivable
    * Provide best practice process for the assessment of credit limits for new clients in line with business requirements and management of credit risk
    * Build a close relationship with the sales team and provide proactive communication in relation to any issues with client base
    * Daily application of cash receipts to AR accounts
    * Provide monthly credit management reports to EMEA Revenue Manager
    * GL responsibility for a variety of EMEA countries
    * Monthly reconciliations completed within reporting deadlines
    * Preparation of monthly management accounts

Key Requirements:

    * Qualified Accountant, Part Qualified with strong experience in a similar role will be also considered
    * Experience in a Multinational, multi currency, shared service environment
    * Strong IT skills, SAP and Excel
    * Experience in reconciliations, balance sheet accounts and subsidiary ledge to general ledger
    * Self starter with excellent time management skills
