The Role
Specialised Case Managers provide case management and support services to job seekers and employers through Communicare’s Employment Services Program. In this role you will provide assessment and case management support services to identify potential career pathways and assist job seekers in overcoming barriers to employment. Drawing on the skills, strengths and preferences of the job seekers you will ultimately assist them in obtaining secure and sustainable employment. You will develop relationships with business and industry in order to secure vacancy opportunities for job seekers
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will possess:
    A willingness to learn and work within contract requirements and Communicare’s Employment Services Program.
    Appropriate qualifications (e.g. Bachelor’s Degree or Cert IV in Employment Services/Cert IV in Career Development) or a willingness to obtain.
    Ability to work within a compliance framework.
    Ability to network, partner and maintain work relationships with external stakeholders.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills (negotiation, sales, marketing skills) and demonstrated interpersonal skills.
    The ability to work autonomously (be self motivated and demonstrate initiative) and be performance driven.
    High levels of computer literacy.
    Capacity to adhere to the DEEWR Service Guarantee and the Employment Services Code of Practice.
    Police Clearance
    Current driver’s licence
